Newsletter Articles > The ASPIRE! Group Grows Its Talent Pool The ASPIRE! Group Grows Its Talent Pool
As part of the ASPIRE! Group’s ongoing strategy to build the breadth and depth of our Cisco-specific expertise and services offerings, we are pleased to announce important relationships with two new consultants, David Stelzl and Andrew Cadwell. David Stelzl, CISSP and President of Stelzl Visionary Learning Concepts, is a noted Security guru who will be working with us on a number of interesting new projects during FY08. Dave is a highly acclaimed thought leader, author, and speaker on Security and Digital Asset Protection Strategies. His recently published book, The House and the Cloud: Building a Compelling Value Proposition Using Risk Awareness to Sell Technology, is a wonderful tool for helping salespeople learn how to more effectively position and sell Security at the business executive level. If you attended one of the many workshops that Dave conducted for Cisco as part of Rob Lloyd’s mandatory Security Training Initiative in the US and Canada during FY07, you already know what a dynamic and credible sales trainer he is. Dave’s previous experience at top global Cisco Channel Partner, Dimension Data, gave him a broad, in-depth understanding of Cisco products, messaging, and Go-to-Market strategies around Security. We are currently collaborating with Dave on several new offerings for FY08, one of which is a workshop entitled, “Positioning the Network as the Platform”. The intent of this workshop is to show Cisco and Channel Partner salespeople how to eliminate much of the complexity and “Kool-Aid” from important architectural strategies like SONA by making them easier to understand and more relevant to the customer’s business needs. Dave is working with us to ensure that key Security concepts are being integrated in to the workshop messaging and role-play scenarios.
Andrew comes to us from KickStart Alliance, where he has been doing extensive consulting work for Cisco and a number of Cisco Channel Partners. His most recent work involved the creation of rapid-adoption value propositions and competitive strategies for Cisco Advanced and Emerging Technologies. Prior to launching is consulting career, Andrew was the Vice-President of Northwest Operations for INX, Inc., a Cisco Gold Partner with Masters Certifications in Advanced Technologies. While at INX, he quickly grew the business, completed mergers and acquisitions, and accelerated Cisco Advanced Technology sales and delivery initiatives. Andrew’s work with INX began as a result of its acquisition of Infogroup Northwest, where he served as Executive Vice President and Principal. His Cisco ecosystem experience also includes serving as the Cisco Solutions Manager and an Enterprise Client Business Manager for AT&T Corporation. With nearly two decades of business development, strategic marketing, sales leadership, and operational management experience in technology, Andrew has an enviable track record of profitable business growth and a demonstrated level of expertise at capturing and retaining market share within the Cisco ecosystem. Currently, Andrew is collaborating with the ASPIRE! Group on the development of several new workshops that are an integral part of the Transactional to Transformational Selling Framework that is being piloted around the globe within both Cisco and the Channel Partner community. The Executive Management Alignment workshop is one that will have a major impact in helping the Cisco ecosystem move toward a more consultative, customer-focused sales culture. “Getting closer to the customer” is one of the primary objectives that John Chambers has outlined as part of the Cisco 3.0 initiative for FY08.
We are pleased to welcome these two talented professionals to the ASPIRE! Group family. If you are interested in dropping Andrew Cadwell a note, you can reach him via his ASPIRE!
